# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 8-oz top sirloin steaks (at least 1 to 1.5 inches thick; ribeye, New York strip, or filet mignon also work)
02 - 2 teaspoons sea salt
03 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
04 - 1/2 recipe compound butter (optional, for serving)

# Instructions:

01 - Take steaks out of the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking to ensure even cooking.
02 - If using compound butter, prepare it in advance and refrigerate until ready to serve.
03 - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C).
04 - Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with sea salt and black pepper.
05 - Place steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not crowded. Air fry to desired doneness. For 1.5-inch steaks: 10–12 min for rare, 11–13 for medium rare, 12–14 for medium, 13–15 for medium well, 14–16 for well done. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
06 - Transfer steaks to a plate and top each with 1 tbsp compound butter if desired. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.

# Notes:

01 - Use a meat thermometer to get the exact doneness you prefer.
02 - Steak will continue to cook and rise about 5°F while resting.
03 - Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3-4 days or freeze for 3-4 months.
