In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, green onions, sweet onions, sugar, and salt. Mix until smooth and evenly combined.

Spoon about 1 tablespoon of filling into the center of each wonton wrapper. Brush the edges with the beaten egg. Fold opposite corners together, then bring in the other two corners and press to seal tightly.

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil. Lightly brush or spray the wontons with vegetable oil and place them on the tray, spaced apart.

Bake for 7–8 minutes or until golden and crispy. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Serve warm with Thai sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping.
