01 -
Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a small mixing bowl, combine the ketchup and barbecue sauce. Stir well and set aside.
02 -
In a large bowl, add the ground beef. Crush the Ritz crackers in a zip-top bag using a rolling pin and pour the crumbs into the bowl. Add the onion soup mix, eggs, and 1/2 cup of the ketchup-barbecue sauce mixture. Mix everything together using your hands until well combined.
03 -
Press the beef mixture evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread the remaining ketchup-barbecue sauce mixture over the top.
04 -
Place frozen tater tots in a single layer over the sauce. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the tater tots, then top with bacon bits.
05 -
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Then remove the foil and continue baking for another 40 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
06 -
Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
