# Instructions:

01 - In a large Dutch oven over medium heat, melt butter. Add onions, carrots, and celery. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are softened, about 8-10 minutes.
02 - Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and flour. Stir continuously for 1-2 minutes to coat the vegetables.
03 - Add chicken broth and wild rice, stirring to combine.
04 - Bring the soup to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer gently for 45-50 minutes, stirring occasionally. Wild rice should be tender but still have a slight chew.
