Stuffed Cheesecake Chocolate Chip Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 1 cup butter, softened
02 - ¾ cup white sugar
03 - ¼ cup brown sugar
04 - 1 egg
05 - 1 egg yolk
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - 2¾ cups all-purpose flour
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
09 - ¼ teaspoon salt
10 - ½-¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips

→ Cream Cheese Filling

11 - ¾ cup (6 oz) cream cheese
12 - ⅓ cup powdered sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Place heaping teaspoons onto lined sheet. Freeze for 1 hour until almost solid.
02 - Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips until just combined.
03 - Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls. Make indents, add frozen cream cheese, cover with second dough ball. Pinch to seal.
04 - Refrigerate assembled cookies while preheating oven to 350°F. Bake 9-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on sheet 10-15 minutes.
