                Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground beef until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.

                Add garlic salt, salt, and tomato sauce to beef. Mix well and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and cover.

                Boil salted water and cook egg noodles until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.

                Preheat oven to 350°F. In mixing bowl, combine diced onion, sour cream, and cream cheese until smooth.

                In greased 9x13-inch dish, layer half the noodles, half the sour cream mixture, and half the beef mixture. Repeat layers. Top with cheddar cheese.

                Bake for 25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm.
