Crispy Fish Fry (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ¾ cups white or yellow cornmeal
02 - ¼ cup all-purpose flour
03 - 1 tablespoon paprika
04 - 2 teaspoons salt
05 - 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
06 - ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

# Instructions:

01 - In a mixing bowl with a lid or a brown paper bag, combine cornmeal, flour, paprika, salt, lemon pepper, and cayenne pepper. Close and shake well to evenly blend all the seasonings.
02 - Place cleaned fish fillets into the bowl or bag with the seasoned cornmeal mix. Shake until each piece is fully coated.
03 - Heat canola or peanut oil to 375°F in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pan. Fry the fish fillets for 5-7 minutes until they turn golden brown and crispy.

# Notes:

01 - For an extra punch of flavor, add ½ teaspoon of garlic powder and ½ teaspoon of onion powder to the mix.
