→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 tablespoons butter
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 8 ounces white mushrooms, whole or sliced as you like
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
06 - 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
07 - 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
08 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
10 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
11 - Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add the mushrooms and garlic and cook until the mushrooms are soft and tender, about 3–5 minutes.
02 - Add the heavy cream, grated parmesan, cream cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and bubbling.
03 - Remove from heat and serve immediately. Top with fresh chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

# Notes:

01 - These mushrooms are a great side for steak, chicken, or served over pasta or toast.
02 - You can swap the white mushrooms with baby bella or cremini mushrooms for a deeper flavor.
03 - To make it spicier, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce.
04 - The sauce thickens as it cools, so serve while warm for best texture.
