02 - 1 (10.5 oz) can French onion soup
03 - 1 packet au jus gravy mix
04 - 1/2 cup water
05 - 4 cubed steaks

→ To Thicken Gravy

06 - 3 tablespoons cornstarch
07 - 3 tablespoons cold water

# Instructions:

01 - In the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker, stir together the cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, au jus gravy mix, and water until smooth.
02 - Place the cubed steaks into the slow cooker, turning them to coat well in the gravy mixture.
03 - Cover and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours, until the meat is fork-tender.
04 - In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and cold water until smooth. Stir this mixture into the slow cooker. You can remove the steaks temporarily to mix if needed, then place them back in.
05 - Turn the slow cooker to high and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the gravy thickens nicely.

# Notes:

01 - This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or white rice to soak up the rich gravy.
02 - Use low-sodium soup and gravy mix to better control the salt content.
03 - For added flavor, you can sprinkle in garlic powder or black pepper when mixing the gravy base.
04 - Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
