Double Smash Burgers with Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Burger Base

01 - 2 burger buns, halved
02 - 500g/1lb ground beef (20%+ fat)
03 - 4 slices American-style cheese
04 - Vegetable oil, as needed
05 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Dad Burger Toppings

06 - Mayonnaise
07 - Shredded iceberg lettuce
08 - Smoked cheddar
09 - Red onion chutney
10 - Bacon
11 - Middle bun slice, toasted
12 - Jalapeños
13 - Onion rings
14 - Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Toast buns until golden. Cut beef into 4 pieces and gently roll into balls.
02 - Heat cast iron pan until smoking hot. Add small amount of oil.
03 - Place beef balls in pan, cover with parchment, smash thin. Season, cook 90 seconds, flip, add cheese, cook 90 seconds more.
04 - Stack with burger sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, patties, and pickles.
05 - Layer with mayo, lettuce, tomato, patty, chutney, bacon, middle bun, more toppings, second patty, onion rings, and BBQ sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Must use high-fat beef (20%+)
02 - Cast iron pan essential for crust
03 - Can adjust cooking time for preference
