Quick Stir Fried Udon Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 servings (500g) frozen udon noodles
02 - ½ pound shrimp (or protein of choice)
03 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil, divided

→ Vegetables

04 - ½ medium onion, sliced
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 cup shredded cabbage
07 - ¼ cup julienned carrot
08 - 3 mushrooms, sliced
09 - 2 green onions, chopped

→ Sauce

10 - 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
11 - 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
12 - 1 tablespoon mirin
13 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
14 - ½ teaspoon Gochugaru or red pepper flakes (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Season protein with salt and pepper. Mix sauce ingredients. Soak udon in hot water, loosen, rinse with cold water.
02 - Heat oil in wok over medium heat. Cook shrimp until opaque, about 2 minutes. Remove.
03 - Add oil, cook onion and garlic until aromatic. Add cabbage, carrot, and mushrooms, cook 2-3 minutes.
04 - Add shrimp, noodles, and sauce. Toss until evenly coated. Mix in green onions.

01 - Use frozen udon for best texture
02 - Can use any protein or extra vegetables
