Easy Elvis Presley Cake Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake

01 - 1 box yellow cake mix
02 - Ingredients called for on cake mix (eggs, oil, water)

→ Pineapple Glaze

03 - 20 ounces crushed pineapple in juice
04 - 1 cup sugar

→ Frosting

05 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
06 - ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, softened
07 - 3 cups powdered sugar
08 - ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions in 9x13-inch pan.
02 - Heat pineapple and sugar until boiling. Pour over hot cake poked with holes.
03 - Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar. Stir in pecans.
04 - Spread frosting on cooled cake. Chill 2 hours before serving.
