Quick Green Detox Smoothie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Smoothie Base

01 - 2 cups fresh spinach, packed nice and tight
02 - 1 ripe medium avocado, pitted and peeled
03 - 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
04 - 1½ cups unsweetened coconut water
05 - 2 teaspoons fresh ginger root, finely grated

→ Optional Boost

06 - 2 teaspoons chia seeds for extra nutrition

# Instructions:

01 - Add everything to your blender - the spinach, avocado, frozen pineapple chunks, coconut water, and grated ginger. If using, toss in those chia seeds too.
02 - Fire up your blender and let it run until everything is perfectly smooth and creamy. You might need to stop and scrape down the sides once or twice.

# Notes:

01 - Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in a jar in the fridge - just give it a good shake before drinking
02 - Can be frozen for up to 3 months - thaw partially and re-blend before enjoying
03 - Feel free to adjust thickness by adding more coconut water if needed
