Easy Cheesy Slow Cooker Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat and Vegetables

01 - Ground beef (2 pounds)
02 - Kosher salt (1 teaspoon)
03 - Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
04 - Garlic, minced (1 tablespoon)
05 - Green bell pepper (1, diced, about 1 cup)
06 - Red bell pepper (1, diced, about 1 cup)
07 - Yellow onion (1 large, diced, about 1 1/2 cups)

→ Casserole Base

08 - Frozen Southern hash browns (1 bag, 28 ounces)
09 - Cheddar cheese soup (1 can, 10.5 ounces)
10 - Sour cream (1/2 cup)
11 - Worcestershire sauce (2 tablespoons)

→ Topping

12 - Mozzarella cheese, shredded (1 1/2 cups)
13 - Parsley, chopped (for garnish)
14 - Salt and pepper (to taste)

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt and pepper. Stir occasionally and break up the meat, cooking for 8-10 minutes until no longer pink. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Drain excess grease if necessary.
02 - In the slow cooker bowl, combine cooked ground beef, green and red bell peppers, onion, frozen hash browns, cheddar cheese soup, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine thoroughly.
03 - Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 hours, or on low for 4-5 hours.
04 - Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
05 - Garnish with chopped parsley. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste before serving.
