Easy Pulled Beef Sandwiches (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Beef

01 - 3 pounds boneless beef chuck roast

→ For the Sauce

02 - 1½ cups ketchup
03 - ¼ cup packed brown sugar
04 - ¼ cup barbecue sauce
05 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
06 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
07 - 1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
08 - ½ teaspoon salt
09 - ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
10 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper

→ For Serving

11 - 12 sandwich buns, split
12 - Sliced onions (optional)
13 - Dill pickles (optional)
14 - Pickled jalapeños (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Cut the chuck roast in half and place in a 3 or 4-quart slow cooker.
02 - Combine ketchup, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, liquid smoke (if using), salt, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl. Pour over the beef.
03 - Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours until the meat is tender.
04 - Remove meat and let cool slightly. Skim fat from cooking liquid. Shred beef with forks and return to slow cooker for 15 minutes to heat through.
05 - Use a slotted spoon to place ½ cup of meat on each bun. Top with optional onions, pickles, and jalapeños if desired.
