Classic Southern Coffee Punch (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Punch Base

01 - 6 cups strong brewed coffee
02 - ¼ cup + 1 tablespoon sugar, divided
03 - 4 cups whipping cream, divided in half
04 - ½ teaspoon vanilla
05 - Dash of salt

→ Ice Cream & Garnish

06 - ½ quart vanilla ice cream
07 - ½ quart chocolate ice cream
08 - Chocolate shavings (optional garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk cooled coffee, ¼ cup sugar, 2 cups cream, vanilla and salt together until frothy. Set aside.
02 - Using a mixer, whip 2 cups cream and 1 tablespoon sugar together until medium to stiff peaks form. Set aside.
03 - Using an ice cream scoop, scoop both ice creams into bottom of punch bowl. Pour coffee mixture over them. Gently stir to partially melt the ice cream.
04 - Top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings. Serve immediately!

# Notes:

01 - Serve immediately for best texture and flavor
02 - Coffee should be cooled before mixing with cream
