→ Main Ingredients

01 - 6 slices frozen Texas Toast garlic cheese bread
02 - 1/2 cup sliced green bell peppers
03 - 1/2 cup sliced onion
04 - 12 oz shaved cheesesteak meat
05 - 3 slices provolone cheese
06 - 3 slices mozzarella cheese
07 - Salt and pepper, to taste
08 - Olive oil and butter, for cooking

# Instructions:

01 - Prepare the Texas Toast garlic cheese bread according to package instructions. Once baked, let it cool slightly.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the bell peppers and onions until tender. Remove and set aside.
03 - Add the shaved cheesesteak meat to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then set aside.
04 - Place one slice of provolone cheese on three slices of the garlic toast. Top with cooked steak, peppers, and onions. Add one slice of mozzarella cheese on each, then cap with another slice of garlic toast to form sandwiches.
05 - Melt butter in a clean skillet over medium heat. Cook each sandwich for a few minutes on each side until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
06 - Slice and serve hot. Enjoy as a hearty lunch or dinner option!

# Notes:

01 - Use a cast iron skillet for an extra crispy finish on the garlic toast.
02 - You can swap the cheese to your liking—try pepper jack for a spicy kick.
03 - Pre-sliced deli steak also works well for this recipe in a pinch.
